Please recommend a SATA DVD burner

    looking for a SATA DVD-BURNER to compliment my new gaming/archiving rig:

    XP PRO SP2/ ABIT IP35 Pro v1.1 BIOS v.16beta09/ Intel C2D E8400 Batch Q748A223 /Xigmatek HDT-RS1283/ 4GB Corsair CM2X2048-6400C5DHX 5-5-5-18 1.80V ver4.1/ Silverstone Zeus ST65ZF/ CM Stacker 830SE/ Creative Labs Fatal1ty ProGamer/ eVGA 8800 768 GTX/ Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW-HC

    will be used to archive so home movies/mp3s/VHS-to-DVD transfers.

    I'll throw in a second for that drive. Just installed mine today, so far so good. Another excellent drive is the Samsung 203B.

    I can second that I’ve got a Samsung fast read speed which always comes in handy tip check if there is a firmware update when you fist install it mine had probs burning an image updated firmware been on the money ever since :)
