    Hi NoLimit04

    At the outset let me thank you very much for ur response.
    i have one question...as u said i removed sim card to key in the code
    but it is saying "insert sim "instead " enter restriction code"
    can u please clarify this...can i key in the code given by u after keeping the new SIM .

    Enter the code from the "insert sim" screen. No sim!!!

    Thank you very much .
    I think my phone got unlocked but not receiving any signals but said restriction off .may be i need to contact local phone dealer to find out y it is not receiving the signals...

    Your location only has GSM 900/1800 MHz and iDEN frequency

    The phone you have is only compatible with GSM 850/1900 MHz so it's doubtful it will work unless they have added another provider there. You will need to purchase a tri-band phone or one that will accept GSM 900/1800 MHz
