Hi to all, I'm a first time poster here.Thanks in advance for any help. I Just upgraded to a plextor 716sa burner. I'm using DVD X copy to back up my dvd's. The Software won't recognize the dual layer blanks.Is there a patch available to fix this? I hope there's something to solve this or I really wasted my $$$ on this Burner.........
hi, yes yes, what version of that DVD X COPY are you using? Because the one and only version they made after 321 studios got shut down support DL, other wise all other verision do not support DL. I don't think you can DL that latest veriosn anymore it's lie v.5 or something. I'd say use CloneDVD. yo, j
STMD you have it the other way around you didnt waste your money on the Plextor burner(best burner on the market) you wasted your money on dvd x copy. i belive x copy doesnt support DL media however you can download dvd decrypter(its free)and it does support DL. better program would be getting clonedvd 2 with anydvd (this is the program to get)does all the newer movies it updates and the quality is outstanding you can download and use the free 21 day trial before you buy and theres a specail on the program here at afterdawn 49 bucks for both programs. heres a guide to use the programs. http://bbmayo.home.comcast.net/ remember to use good media (Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim) and burn at 4x ,Cheers
