hi i would like to know which device is plug and play no flashing ... no software/image installing dbox2? starview? or eurovox do you get same amount of channels with all? also if anyone could send me a newbies guide for all of them as im interested in knowing how. thanx
It is illegal to sell boxes with firmware on them, they all need to be flashed, all you will get pre- flash is the free to air channels.
o right is their a really simple guide anywhere ? all the ones ive seen are complicated also which is the 1 to have...
Whichever one you prefer. The channels you get are the channels provided by your cable company, doesn't matter which box.

My Itgate TGM220 came preflashed and ready to scan with all cams & keys installed. I was surprised at that, since the people selling them seem well aware of the laws, so maybe there is a law. There was a note warning if you did not click the FTA box before scanning that you would be breaking the law, so of course I ticked it The boxes are linux based so will be updateable and have component out video which I wanted (better quality pic than scart), you can also record onto an external HD with them, and they come with a 2 year warranty. Don't think I am allowed mention the name but they are easily googled, I think only one place is selling them in the UK
