I have a compaq laptop (here it is http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9168143&type=product&id=1218041995463 ). I want to plug it into my old projection screen HDTV with this http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2290596 . Will it plug right in or do I need to use a program to set the correct resolution like powerstrip or something. Any help with be greatly appreciated. I really don't know anything about this sort of thing so thanks for any help you can give me.
