K, so let me explain my situation. I have little time on the internet due to the fact that my cable provider sucks and won't come out and look at it for me. So I am posting this from my school, this is one of the few sites I could get to due to the filters they have, and very well constructed site with lots of info. So here is my question. I am wanting to mod my xbox like every other nub that post one of these bullentins, I do not have the time to go through this whole site looking up each individual thread, due to I only have a 1hr 30min class where I spend most of the time typing. I have read a few things on this matter but the thing I am most perplexed about is they say to do any type of modding to your xbox that you need to have a softmodded x box or a modded xbox in general. I do not mean if this means I need to have a box with a bigger HD or what. I am wanting to to mod Halo 2 of course or any other game, just to full around with a little. So if anyone is feeling gracious enough to post some guides or just a link to another thread on the matter at hand would help me out a great deal. Normally I would not be asking people to help me with this matter I would just browse the forum and find it, but due to the fact that my cable is not working I ask for help from any novice to veteran to help me out. But what modding I would like to do is from anywhere from changing what the gun shoots to complete level skins. So any help is most gratefully appreciated. THX alot guys.

Cable..... it works..... thank you God. I have another quick question before my cable goes back out. I have read many of the Guides on this site and here is my last questions(hopefully) to extract the maps you need to have to have Halo 2 burnt onto your xbox. How is this done? And since it will be on my Xbox HD will I need to get a new HD all together? Thank you all.
ok u need ur halo2 put in ur xbox make sure ur xbox dosent auto launch the game then go 2 system misc. copy game make sure that u own halo2! this is for unleashx now for your HD u can install a bigger hd but u dont need 2 in order 2 put halo2 in ur hd make sure u have at least 4GB or 4000MB of free memory
so unleash x will alow me to burn H2 to my HD,hmmmm. And I do not need to have a bigger HD in order to do this.
