i tried general discussion three times already and still no replies in like a week... original post ------------- hey i did a search and couldn't find much help. regular cd's you can add fine to the xbox but how can i add some from a cd-r or can i add from cd-rw. Every cd-r i've tried to use on my box hasn't worked. My friend says he's got one to work but he doesn't remember wat kind of cd-r or rw it was...plz help...thanks
the drives in the xbox's (especially the older revisions) are not great for cD's. Usually I only use CD-RW and even then I just copy them to the hdd and not try to run the game from it. if you backed up your game to CD you could extract the files to your pc, then convert them back using XISO and burn them to DVD-R?
