plz help!

    hi,
    i realy need some of your help ppl! you no on a dvd and on a cd it has a speed on there eg. on a dvd it will say 8x and on a cd it will say 52x. do i have to change the speed of my burner to match the speeds on the cds and dvds? and also can all dvd players play vcds?plz could you reply!

    No, you can burn your cd's and dvd's with any speed you want. Those speeds on dvd/cd covers are just the maximum speeds they support. Basically all new dvd players play vcd's. That option has been available for quite a while, so older players support it too.
