hi all i have a p4 2.8 ghz 512k cash 1 gig ram ati 9600xt 256 vga the proplem is that when am plying games or somthing my pc somtimes frezez or restart or the monitor shutoff and say turned of for power saving and my pc is still working but cant make work only if i restarted my pc and when i try to play halo it says i direct 3d disabled and its not it use to work on my compaq amd pased with the same video card same goes to farcry it just make my screen black then if i hit enter it goes back to desktop and my old vcard geforce fx 5200 use to work just fine any help sorry for the long post but this thing makes me crazy and yeah my mobo is asus p4r800 vm thanx in advance
To enable DirectX 3D. Go to start, run, type in dxdiag Wait for it to finish loading. Click on the Display tab, and make sure all the DirectX features are Enabled.
i dont know but ilost my halo cd i have the demo and its is working on my copaq flawless and btw my psu is 300 watt culd this be the proplem
