I am a noob at the whole XBox thing. I want to be able to play snes, or nes games on my xbox. I don't know what i need. I have visited other sites but they were very unclear on the step-by-step methods to take. Can someone help me please???
Step 1---> you either need to buy a mod chip for your xbox or learn how to soft mod. There are many of threads on afterdawn about soft modding. Step 2---> buy yourself a larger hard drive.
Well, you don't need a Larger Hard Drive if you don't want to. That just makes things more complicated for a beginner. Listen to someone who doesn't have a Disney Avatar. ;D Anyways you can buy a Mod chip of a site. Just Google Xbox Mod Chip. You can buy one off ebay or divineo. I suggest buying the X3 and going to their site. They have clear instructions and pics on how to successfully install and flash your mod chip without any problems. Of course you can always softmod it. They have better tuts at http://www.xbox-scene.com in their forums. Of course Softmodding is a little more riskier and less rewarding.
