    the reason iam interested in this is because i noticed them at a store today and i knew that they looked like a GC disk. i was wondering has anyone ever used a PMD(subject)and made a backup copy of a GC game. so not to scratch there original game of coarse. iam new to this board so fill me in and, does anyone know where i can get a download for the computer virtue boy ? the game i'm looking for is Mario vs donkey kong. any help i would be thankful.

    The issue with making Gamecube backups is that the original disc cannot be read in a PC and therefore a PC cannot write the proper dataformat. Mini DVD's also exist which are except for the dataformat otherwise compatible. L-Burna has posted some promising information regarding development of a modchip for Gamecube that would allow it to presumably read DVD format discs.
