You already have anydvd. Try another program with it (maybe hmmm let me see) clonedvd2. I would have thought that at least what I said proves that there is no copyright issues with the sound coming out with AnyDVD at least with PAL version. Thus it points to either your software or setup being screwed, not an issue with the original disk. Sorry if you took my comment as a pointless remark, it was intended to highlight at least one area you need not waste your time and efforts looking at, and to assist with another option. Never mind, hope you get a useful copy in the end!
Thank you. I never meant it the way you thought I did. I have made copies of two others, and no problem. It may be the original. Thanks again.
I have been trying to backup Polar Express for the grandkids to watch at my home, so I don't have to worry about them scratching the original, but I keep thinking everything is going great, only to find out that the video is great, but the DVD has no sound. I purchased 1ClickDVD Copy with CopytoDVD SE,and DVD43 before I found others that work better, but most of the time 1ClickDVD works fine. It seems that the new movies is where the trouble starts. I downloaded DVD Decypter, DVD Shrink, then DVD Fab Decrypter and pgcedit. I'm not sure how to use the last two programs, but I've been playing around, making lots of coasters. I remembered seeing something on polar express with a detailed "how to" example. If anyone knows where that example is or has some advise, other than read more articles, I feel like I'm going around in a circle, almost there, but can't quite get there. Thanks for the help, ahead of time.
