Pop-Ups

    Im using Windows XP- I recently searched for MP3 Download sites and entered mp3music.

    I am now swamped with Pop-Ups each time I Log On.

    How can I stop this & find the cause?

    to stop pop ups I use google toolbar and have not seen 1 pop up this year and it has blocked 1200++ nso far this year
    just type google toolbar into google download n off ya 'pop' no more pop ups
    hope it helps it also seems to update itself also

    Download Spybot- Search and Destroy. Get it here: http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=download

    It will analyze your system and eliminate the most the spyware causing the popups. Run regular scans and get yourself a popup blocker that runs while you're online.

    You might look into a browser called Mozilla Firebird. It has a built-in pop up blocker that works like a charm plus it has tabbed browsing, great extensions to download for it and best of all it's free. Check it out here:

    I like to use Spybot and Adaware together (both free) to get rid of spyware. You can get Adaware here:
