Hi, When I watch the video in any other player on my computer it looks and sounds great. As soon as I watch it in Nero ShowTime, or burn it to dvd using Nero, you can hear popping/cracking noises, mainly when there is background music in the video. I have done the upgrade installs of Nero express 6 and that hasn't helped. Does anyone have any ideas how to go about getting rid of this popping noise? The files themselves are fine as they can be viewed in any other player perfectly... ~ Lacuna
i wouldnt recommend nero recode as it has horrible audio recoding. Its not your computer thats causing the cracklin and neither is it the video. Its the fault of nero's audio compressor and decompressor. Get another playback video renderer like bsplayer or media player classic. I would recommend watching it with either zoom player or media player classic that comes with the codec pack "combine community codec pack" which is free located at http://www.cccp-project.net/ if you plan to make it a dvd... well thats a whole nother issue, but to burn it as udf with nero and playing it on another computer is just fine as well.
