I use Utorrent and Xlink Kai for some time, but when my modem fell off the table, smashed open, and got broken, the time of punching the computer screen in anger took place. I got a Speedstream 6250, no charge, in replace. Its a router/modem, so i thought it could be useful. I knew i would have to port forward it, but thats when the problems took part. I have port forwarded other routers with no problems, but this one is hunk a junk.

Ok, i used a guide at portforward.com, untill i got up to the part with typing in your ip adress, so i can go to the bell page. I type it in and get this:

    Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

And with internet explorer every time i get redirected to a page that wants me to download something!

So if anyone can help me out with port forwarding it would help me out A LOT!!!

    Thanks

Don't type in anything, just hit ok.
Works on some routers when they're still on factory settings.

    I take it you've already tried calling your ISP's helpdesk/techsupport ?
