Hi..i have read Jkwons guide to setting up bitorrent but have encountered problems when doing my portforwarding..i used port number 6881 for my client..i have done a port probe and it shows that the port is opened.(See below)..however, when u tried doing a test in the natchecker, the results shows that there are no client running on that port(see below), i have added the port into my port forwarding option in my router configuration.anyone knows how to solve this problem? I am currently using linksys WRT54G wireless router and running 2mbps cable connection thanx! Port probe results: Natchecker Results:

I wouldn't worry about port forwarding if you're only doing it for faster downloads. At least with my experiences it didn't help at all.(and yes I waited the recommended time for it to take affect) All I'm sayin is I spent a couple days (not the whole day) tryin to set up port forwarding and after a day or so having them forwarded the speeds didn't change AT ALL!!
