Portrait of Ruin freezing

    Hi, I'm using Supercard firmware 1.7 and Passme2. I patched Portrait of Ruin with Supercard software 2.57. At random points the game freezes (black touch screen, the cross still shows in upper screen, music still playing) when entering the menu (Pressing start). Any tips on how to fix this without having to wait for firmware/software updates?

    make sure you are not trimming the ROM or setting any type of in game reset and try again. if it still doesn't work.. all i can say is wait for a patch
