so american idol is over and i'm goin' through withdrawal, so i've put all of the clips i've recorded onto DVD (without commercials or people who suck). however, when i play back the TV clips on my DVD, many times the picture and music are out of synch and the people look terribly pixelated. I am using Arcsoft Showbiz 2 and i save the burn the files to DVD as avi images...is there anything else i can do? would a program that claims to "smooth videos" clear this up?
    thanks for your input.

What Type of Capture Device are you useing???
Pixelation Can be Caused from many things like Low Quality Encodeing or Capture...
If you are Useing Arcsoft Showbiz to Encode your Files to Mpeg2 then that is part of your Problem because arcsoft is a Low Level consumer product that doesn"t produce the best Quality........
