(possible Brick) PSP won't turn on.

My PSP will not turn on. It has never been mistreated/dropped/shut off while updating/or attempted downgrade/hacking. I was just listening to music on it one day, shut it off, and it never turned back on. I took it apart to see if there were any burn marks on teh mobo fro possible fry adn I didn't see any.

 

are you sure the battery didnt just die?

 

I don't have the original power plug, but I have a 5v plug I have tried. I have also tried the psp on an actual psp plug but it still didn't work.

Could this have anything to do with the battery on the mainboard. Its version is TA-081 if that helps any.

 

it just died on u. hold a proper burial, and after a month, move on lol

 

yh this has happened 2 me a couple of times too - try taking the battery out & putting it back in, worked for me
