i was just wonderin what are the possible causes of LAGs,freezes and crashes.. i mean whenever i play a movie on my laptop, the movie seems slow.. like ur playing a slowmotion film or whatever.. and it happens on online games too, and every other games are really unplayable.. i have XP pro, Celeron(R) CPU 2.60GHz and 1GB ram, radeon IGP345m (updated), and i've tried reinstalling XP, and everything, tweaks, cleanups, etc. can u guys help me out here.. thanks
i dont know if you found a solution yet but i was having the same problem and i tried cleaning up everything (spyware, virus, registry, defragment) and i was still lagging. then i got rid of mcafee virus scan and got AVG. found two trojan viruses on my comp that mcafee missed. cleared those out and i am running fine now. also take a look at the processes running on your comp with the task manager and see what is hogging up all the resources.
