Alright, I am not 100% sure this is a virus, it is completely plauseable that I have a hardware issue.

Recently I have noticed my computer randomly shutting down.
Ill leave it on at night, and then when I wake up it will be completely shut down.
This is NOT due to a power save setting.
So, it was ok, I could deal with it.
I did my usual anti-spyware/virus/adware searches.
These consist of SpyBot S&D, Ad Aware, HiJackThis.
Got a few minor results, nothing to worry about.
Days later, I was using my computer, and it just shut off.
The computer shut down and began to restart.
It brought up the HP splash screen, and then a black screen with a blinking white underscore.
It will no longer boot up windows, and I tried to press F10 for the recovery concole that HP has setup, same problem.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions.

Sounds like it could be a hard drive issue.
