take a look at this link its to a thread about another LH-18A1P FW update...GLOJ http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1841184&postcount=147
cincyrob, The only problem with this is situation is that you have to be a member of 'Freaks & logged on in order to download the images(scans) & see what they are talking about. I am a member btw, but it still ticks me off that I have to log in to their site in order to see the urls(which AD doesn't, which is a big plus}.
Here's a new submission for this new, part 2 thread! http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/TurboYuden12x20a1h.png Lets see how this works! Not a bad little ditty that ain't too shitty. (Oh, for an animated gif of a cat taking a dump in a cat box!) I'd love some suggestions on how to lower the jitter!
It works but it people (simple, like me) might have a problem the personal image posting. Heres a new posting: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/TurboYuden12x20a1h.png Ooops, already posted. I beg everyone's indulgence.
Hi ;-) I don't see the point of closing one thread to simply open another. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? As for links many other sites require you to be a member. Could this mean newbies taking flight?
yea i dont know how tis gonna go over or not, but we gotta do what we can... here is a scan done with the new GLOJ FW for the LH-18A1P not bad http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i196/Cincrob/gloj.png i dont think you have to be a member to photobucket or image shack to see the link?? im not sure
Hi ;-) When I referred to other sites. I was thinking more of the likes of CDF. If you started a thread there with too many links to other sites they close it down. Think of those with dialup too, it will take them longer to see these links too.
not much going on today. watching the race, burning a few movies with the newest FW for the LH-18A1P GLOJ. did a educational flick for my 4yo abc's 123's...lol http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i196/Cincrob/TSM.png
not much going on today either i see unless your looking to argue...lol here is a scan of a 16x+r ritek(office depot) burnt at 8x http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i196/Cincrob/ritek.png
I hope the idea behind doing this isn't offensive to many members. LOL. I don't know much about the logistics behind http code and such but I would think the "site" and "thread" would load faster with text and not pics to deal with. Anyone got an idea on that theory?? Pretty good scan there Rob ole buddy!! The RITEK R05 is very close to the results I was getting. I'm not sure that the NEWER RITEK stuff isn't as good as it used to be. It's not bad at this point but I have other media and NOT TY or Verbs that will perform better. It goes without saying that the TY's and Verb's perform better. LOL. Had to clear that up. LOL. ...gm
cincyrob, I see that you're boosting your post count again. LOL. j/k!! Got 2 for now. The Passion on TYG02 media. Same file folder, engine-Nero Express, speed 8X, first scan burned with the LH-18A1P and the second burned with the Pioneer DVR-112L. LIke you people can't read but there you have it. TYG02 burned with LH-18A1P TYG02 burned with Pioneer DVR-112L cincyrob this is the difference between the Lite-on and the Pioneer. I need to do some house cleaning maybe to get a little better results from both burners. I'm still not sure of the GLOJ f/w on the Lite-on but after a cleaning and defrag I might try it again. ...gm
OMG! A quadruple post? How'd you do that cincyrob? Was it a "senior" moment???? Mine usually don't show up at all until I refresh the screen! Here's a new DL scan I felt like sharing. Gotta love them verbs! Burned @ 4X with Lite-On LH-20A1H. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/BigChill20a1hVerb4xBurn.png Jitter scan craps out at the layer break for some odd reason. Still looking for hints on lowering jitter rate! (nudge, nudge )
hobbit, Good news, Bad news deal. You can "fix" your jitter rates but I think it could involve more than you might be willing to "bite" off. I've read a little bit about "jitter testing" and it seems that an "out of balance" disc or drive could cause such "fluctuations" in the test itself. I'm pretty sure you're using "decent" media so that may not be a question, but the drive might be a little bit out of balance or not running as smoothly as one would like it too. I'm NOT saying "take" your drive apart and oil it or anything but you might do a search on "balancing" a dvd-drive, specifically on the LITE-ON model you have. I've also read some tutorials for my LH-18A1P but my JITTER test is acceptable to me. Here's a pic for some light reading. I know that we've been adding links but I think that this is more important than a scan. So here's the pic. ...gm
