CPU and RAM are ok, motherboard is a bit naff, use this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128088 If you're doing lots of DVD conversion and video editing though, you might want to consider 2GB of RAM, and a faster CPU like these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115029 For what it's worth, you may as well get a decent cooler like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134 and then overclock the CPU. It's dead easy on Gigabyte motherboards, and with either the CPU you listed or the E6750, you could achieve a good overclock.
ok thanks will these items be fines to run windows vista like vista ultimate? I dont dont do too much video conversion but when i do i want it to be a lil faster as what it can do now basically. And i dont do any gaming at all.
ok thanks forgot to edit another question, Will the current case i have be ok to install it in? and what do u reccomend a video card fairly inexpensive but good to add on?
If you're going to add a new graphics card, you'll probably need to change the power supply, so this is where it gets difficult, because the means by which you attach one may be specific to the Gateway Power supplies.
