Power Button does not work

    I have an xbox v1.1 with an aladdin XT 4064 mod-chip. Every thing works fine but my "power button" does not work. Even if I press it for 1 - 2 minutes, my xbox doesnt boot up. Even if I tap it 5 - 6 times, my xbox doesnt boot up. Although I can boot up my xbox with the "eject button". Can anyone tell me what is the problem and how to fix it ???

    Please help me...............

    first thing to check is the obvious, the reset/eject PCB

    OK...... I'll check it. Is the reset/eject PCB in my xbox obvious to locate or is there any specific place ???

    it's in the face plate, it has the reset and eject buttons as well as the LED's, you'll have to take the front face plate off and then it snaps out of it, being careful with the board.
