I installed a new CD burner - Benq 4012A 40X12X48. The firmware which is installed is: 1.GE

I'm trying to use Nero 5.5 to burn CDRs and CDRWs, burnning starts and then I get an error message, initially the error is:

    "Power calibration error"

I tried different CD-R and CD-RW brands (including High Speed) and also tried to change burning speed in Nero but nothing helped.

    any ideas? thanks!!!

I think your power supply may be underpowered to burn CD's at high speeds. Try lowering this speed and try it again. If you have devices such as SCSI cards/drives, 3d Accelerators, etc then you'll need a higher wattage power supply.
