Has anyone ever receive this erro. I was burning a slide show to the blank DVD it did a few okay. Now I've noticed in trying to burn the slideshow to another blank DVD I am periodically getting the "Power Calibration Erro" does this mean that some of the DVD's may be faulty since it burn on some of them okay?

    Hi zunigabir
Could be the discs. One reason for this error is the media your using and/or firmware not up to date on your drive.
What brand are your using? Is your drive's firmware up to date?

I've been using store brand DVD's from Fry's I've used them in the past but periodically get this message. One thing I did was create an Image on the hard drive of the slideshow that I created in doing so I used the same blank disks that gave me this message and I was able to burn the slideshow to them with no problem.

Ok zunibar - let's check the make, model and firmware version of your drive in Nero. Go to Nero ToolKit>InfoTool
Pop a blank disc in also. On the disc tab Nero should give the manufacturer - on the drive tab your firmware version will be listed.

Post back this info to see if we can stop this error for you.
Here's a pic for illustration on the firmware:
