i am getting the same probs as sopme of u here, i.e.
    1)power calibration error,
    2)Couldnt perform Endtrack
    3)Invalid Write State

i tried to blow the dust out but to no avail. Further i was able to write 2 times (on same CD). succes rate is 20% though. I have enuf sys specs, 512 RAM, 2.66p4, etc. Can someone help me? Further i have fgew more doubts:-

1)Whats ASPI? Do i need to have it to burn CDs? How do i know if i have it?
2)Which is the correct Firmware update(from those listed below) for my drive? i have TSSTcorp-SH-M522C-TS03. My old vwersion is TS03. SO new version MUST be ts03?

power calibration errors are caused by your drive unable to read the disc check to see if a firmware upgrade for your drive is avalable
go to Firmwarepage.com you will need the model number of your drive
