Lately all my Video burning has been failing because of the abovementioned failure (POWER CALIBRATION ERROR). I have installed Nero 8 and I really dont know whats happening.If there is a failure in the program or in the hardware of my computer. As a matter of fact I can burn Audio CDs normally,can hear them through my computers loudspeakers,I can watch Video through my computers screen but I cannot burn it onto a DVD. I cannot imagine whats happening?.Is there any way of solving this problem? Thanks for your reply.
Power calibration errors generally refer to a problem that the burner has with the media. It's trying to determine the amount of power it should use to burn the disk. Try a known, reliable brand;'Verbatim' comes to mind.
