hi all, i did a power scan of my eurovox max to get the new sky 1,2,3 channels. But its only gettin 99 channels and no sky sports or mtv channels. I have the oringinal installation instructions and power scanned from 300 - 870 mhz and symbol rate 6.952 and 6.837. i live in a telewest area and have previously power scanned with no problems. The latest firmware i have installed is s/w ver 1.0 STC4 APR 28 2008 j/w ver 2.0t K5 Any suggestions?
did that and didnt get a single channel or frequency. I think telewest is suppose to be 6.952 so i`ve scanned with that frequency in the same range but still not gettin sky sports, sky movies, mtv etc. thanks for tryin tho.
In Telepest area you are quite correct in that the symbol rate is 6.952, and you should be starting/complete from the range that karl has said, but are you sure that you are doing a Factory Default first, if so then you should be picking them up.
yea, i erase all the channels first then did a factory reset to default 6.952. installation- range 100 - 870 and symbolrate 6.952. The full scan is only taking roughly 15 minutes which is alot faster than usual and its seems to stop scanning when it gets to around frequency 600 even tho i put the range to 870.
How many channels did you get this time? providing you do a factory default reboot the box and scan on 6952 without splitters starting at 100 to 850 step to 8 and your feed is live and signal is ok you will find your channels, if you dont then you have either a signal problem or a fault with your box. Where abouts are you?
