Hey i have a computer that i have replace the power supply twice. i cant figure out what can be the problem. i was wondering would it be the rams fault in blowing up my power supply.

if the power supply die would it cause other problems or damage other hardware??

    Thanks for listening

are you using cheap power supplies? because if you are, then that's the problem. you need a high quality unit. corsair, antec, thermaltake, seasonic, pc power&cooling are a few of the high quality brands.

if the power supply goes out, you can potentially take out the motherboard, graphics card, and possibly the hard drives.

Thanks for the head up, think those power supplies are the cheap one, 39.99$ range. this computer is fun, my cos gave to me, it was working on the day before they gave it to me. however i believe that this computer as never be turned off before. so power supply die when i hook everything up, so i replaced with another old power supply. so i guess those power supplies are all at the end of their line. I still have one power supply that i use as a tester
