    a few questions..

my 'power supply/fan' is making a LOT of weird noises recently and i'm wanting to replace it. I understand that each computer needs a specific power supply, so here's the volts/watts info about mine. http://i1.tinypic.com/nzpv8w.jpg ....

do i need a power supply with the EXACT same numbers as this one or can they be a little over/under?

secondly, is 'power supply' and 'fan' the same thing.. because last time i checked my computer, it's about a 4 inch box that includes the fan and power supply.. im just wondering, thanks!

yes if still powered up. the fan probably needs lubrication. does it make a groaning noise that eventually disappears when the computer is started up?

it's a constant noise.. mabe once a month for 10 minutes it might stop, but then will constantly make a car's messed up engine noise that keeps 'restarting'.. it's like chee che chee che CHOO and goes on and on forever... and it's extremely loud.. i can hear it from 2 rooms down.
