My video card has the splitter cable that came with it. Now do I run power to both of the power cords that come off of it?
    Power Female ___
Power female ___|---> to video card
There's my drawing of it but anyway like i asked do i need to run power to both of th female connectors because I only have one in right now and my video card says its only a 256 when it should be a 320 mb. Thanks

You should power both connectors. What rating is your power supply?

Well It's working fine because I just read on the Nvidia website that vista is saying in the control panel that the 8800gts is only 256mb but the nvidia control panel says 320mb.
