I have bought a Digivox-t box and i am having few problems with signal. Can someone tell me what voltage to expect out of the down convertor/Power Supply for aerial? Can i test this voltage on tv side or downconvertor side. To i touch volt meter off center copper wire on cable and outer rf connevtor to read voltage.

    Any help would be great...

The power insertor should be around 18V output.

Is this across the copper wire and the outside of the rf connector?

The output is to your antenna. If you have a box supplied by your cable provider have you tried that?

Im getting 24v on the side that goes to aerial and nothing on the other side that goes to the box. Is this correct?

Why should you want to grill the tuner of the box with current.
The downconverter at the aerial need electrical power.
24 volt is at the upper limit but ok.

New to all this just trying to eliminate all possible issues ya know. I have issues with my signal. I have now eliminated power unit and box itself as i have brought box over to mates house who has choru$ and it works perfect. I had a quick try at putting up me aerial on sat and got caught in the rain. I have found out that i need to set aerial at H and everything else is working equipment wise. So it must be an alignment issue.

    Have you any other tips?

If you got a downconverter with IF662 try a manual scan at 682mhz and 690mhz.
