When ever I start PowerVCR II v3.0, I get an error saying: "Runtime Error! Program: C:\Installed\PowerVCR\PVCR.exe abnormal program termination" Why does this say this? Please help! I have spent all day sufing the web with no luck. P.S. I have tried to re-install it. I've tried to update Visual Basic. I've tried to uninstall then install it. Finally, uninstall, restart, install, restart, then run, and all with no luck. Also tried taking out of registry, then installing and tried updating my video card drivers. Please help. ANY help will be appriciated.
i'm having the same problem if u find out how to fix it let me know. when i first installed it it worked fine now all of a sudden i start getting the runtime error..
The Best solution would to Not use this extremely Old and Outdated program...... This Program hasn"t been updated in allmost 4 years but they are Still Selling it even though there are Major Combatibility problems with it and XP SP2... Maybe Try something Newer and Better Like "InterVideo WinDVR 3.0" which is a Much better Mpeg capture program .... Good Luck
I use power vcr 2 with latest patch from cyberlink on Win XP sp2 no problems at all. Just go get the patch... As for WINDVR 3 its better but it has some issues on my system. i get a green screen while recording with windvr. Anyway. www.go.cyberlink.com has a update for powervcr ii 3.0 AND IT RUNS FLAWLESS ON MY SYSTEM
