This is my first day with Adobe Premiere 2 Pro and I've gone through every tutorial I can and just can't drag some .mov files from the Project list into the Timeline. They imported fine and work in the Source window.

Video clips are 12 fps .mov shot with a digital camera and I'm hoping to do frame interpolation to 25 or 30 fps. I've also had the same problem with a 30fps DIVX .avi file.

System is running Vista 32 SP1 Premium... AMD 5600 dual core... 3 gigs of memory.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Guess I can't delete the post. I solved the problem by opening the project as NTSC 32 kHz instead of NTSC 44kHz. Once I did, it opened up additional controls in the timeline and I was easily able to drag the files down there.

Go figure. The original audio was only 12kHz mono.
