Premiere Pro - Capture Compressor???

    Having problems encoding when capturing off digital camcorder.

    When you go into premiere capture compressor options, it has dv pal, shaded, so you cant select other options.

    Why is this?

    I need to capture it down to a quicktime format to use for macromedia director??

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

    When Captureing in Premier you do not use ANY Compression options because the Video on your Camera is allready compressed to DV AVI format..The Proscess of Captureing from a DV Camera is basicly just a straight transfer of Data from your DV Tape to your Hard drive so there are no codecs Involved...
