Presario CQ40-627TU Laptop, Start Up Problem...

    Guys.. I'm having probs lately with my Compact Presario CQ40-627TU Laptop PC. When I switch"ON"...
    1)and press d 'DEL'key,to start BIOS Utility, I run Startup Test. The memory test is(OK), but when it test my primary hardisk my pc hang at 60% test-in-progress.
    2)...BUT without pressing 'DEL', the screen will goes BLACK for 'bout 5-10mins. Then, an error msg pop out.....like this:
    > Windows failed to start. A recent hardware @ software change might be the problem.
    > Try..
    > 1)Insert UR windows installation disk (WHICH I DON'T HAVE!!)& RESTART ur PC
    > 2)Choose UR language....(bla...bla...bla)
    > 3)click "repair UR pc"....
    > If u don't have d diskk, please contact........
    > Status: 0xc000000f
    > Info: The boot selection failed 'coz a required device is inaccessible.

    FYI, The OS is Windows 7. So, guys... please help!!! thanx!!!!

    try posting in the correct forum such as "windows=general discussion" at this has nothing to do with usenet newsgroups. closed
