Is there a way to prevent an error code 16 on an xbox that is softmodded? I've modded quite a few xboxes, and most of them ended up with this error code. This is caused by leaving the Xbox unplugged for more than 5 hours I hear. Is there a way I can keep this from happening, in case I need to throw an xbox into storage, or I need to move it somewhere? This is a very annoying error, and I get it a lot. Hopefully somebody can help me out.
That's not what I mean. Like, is there a way to keep my xbox from hitting error code 16 if it's been unplugged for too long? Can I have it ask me for the time again? Or is this impossible with a softmod?
look it happens, when you make changes to the xbox dashboard files and unplug the system for over 5 hours right afterwards...keep the system plugged in after you make changes to the xbox for like 3 hours and you wont get an error 16..
it shouldnt i softmod peoples xbox's all the time and have never got an error 16, and i believe its because i leave them plugged in for a while before unplugging them....
if you are using UnleashedX dash board leave the EvoX dashboard in the apps folder.. Error 16 is juss when it can't find the interanal clock setup and EvoX has that setup so if you leave it in the Apps folder it will keep the internal clock set.. my friends xbox fucked up because we took it off but mine is just fine because mine still has it.. but don't keep your xbox unplugged for more than 6 hours or it will mess up.. i'm not sure it will mess up after 6 hour if it has evoX thou.. but don't try it
