I have some office PCs that were sharing printers, files & applications over a network using a NETGEAR WGR614 router. They have Win XP Professional, 2.4Ghz Pentiums & about 640MB of memory installed. Everything was working fine, but all of a sudden I can no longer share printers amongst all the computers like before. applications and file sharing can occur, just not printer sharing. Any idea what may have happened & how to correct it?

How are the printers being shared? Are they all plugged into computers and shared that way? Are you using print servers (Jet direct)?

They are connected to computers directly & shared that way. No print server.

How old is that router? Here is what I would try and you have tried. First power cycle the router. Unplug it for a few seconds and plug it back in. If that did not do it then hit the reset button on the router. (Hitting the reset will make you lose all setting except for internet lo gin information)If this does not work I wold turn off all firewall programs on the systems just for testing (Even the built in Windows Firewall). If that did not work I would find a crossover cable And plug two computers directly into each other to see if they will print that way. If that does work then your problem is in the router and time to go shopping. This time something other than Net gear.

Since you say you can access share files I did not not give instruction for testing the network. If you can get those files then your printers should also be working.
