I was checking on a friends computer and i was told the printer didn't work. it wouldn't print from any program. i looked in the device manager and there was a yellow question mark on the printer line. my question is it the driver or the firmware thats the problem. my next move would be to delete the printer from the device manager and reboot the computer to see is that would re fresh the printer. any suggestions? i won't get back to that computer for another week, so shoot some suggestions.
driver yes, firmware unlikely so uninstall the device with exclamation mark in device manager than restart windows. check for updated driver from printer manufacturer.
