I have converted digital pictures of several vacation trips to dvd slide shows using Nero 6.3.
We can't figure out how to convert the slide show back to single photos for printing.

Any help or direction to a tutorial would be appreciated!

there are two things here...... some slide shows are put into DVD format and run like a movie. If this is the case then all you have is a DVD movie and you would need to take a snapshot of the screen and then resave to hard drive for reprint.... which you will lose quality! but if like most slide shows, are just showings of the JPGs on a DVD then you still have the original format on the DVD! Just pop that DVD into the computer but don't run it! Explore the DVD in Windows Explorer and pick out the files you want to print. the files should be in folders.... Hope this helps.

You can also right click on the pic, and choose "save image as..." in the menu that opens. Save it to a folder, then print all you want....
I've done a few pics this way, but not from a slide show.
IHoe's suggestions were good too. This was just one more option.)
    Good luck!

Try all three ways, and see which gives you the best results. I'm guessing the "Explore" option of the disc will............

Thank you IHoe and JVC for your help.

For some reason I did not receive the reply notifications from this thread but thought I'd check before looking into it again.

Unfortunately Nero was used to convert the pictures to movie files backed up on a DVD. I'll play with Nero and a couple of other viewers to see what kind of results I get and post back.

The use of Nero's capture frame worked perfectly. The quality loss isn't noticeable at 4x6". They are prints for a scrapbook project mny wife and daughter are working on.

    Thanks again!

If you have PowerDVD or other viewing programs they can take a snapshot of the frame you want of the DVD! it saves it in JPG format in a designated file in it's preferences! That will work.
