I am trying to print out pictures and they don't come out good at all. I did have cartridges that I put in and had them sitting around for a while and wondered if they went bad? Would anyone know about this? I am going to try newer ones and see if that helps.

If inkjet cartridges aren't used for about a month they start to dry up. This usually shows up by one of the colours in the colour cartridge not printing, so pictures come out the wrong colour, and possibly with stripes in them.

Thanks, that what I figured. I am getting some new ones and hope that's all the problem is. I heard that you can keep ink cartridges in the refridgerator to prevent them from drying out. Will that hurt them?

Hmm, I've not heard that. Sounds risky...

maybe alright in the fridge but not in the freezer as ink is water based.

Everything is cool! Got my new cartridges and prints fine. Others must have been dried out. Thanks for the help!
