My problem is that im the administrator on my computer which runs windows xp home edition and i have three other limited users. My son figured out the way to make certain folders private so i cant see what hes downloading. My question is whether there is a way that i can remove the privacy or bypass the privacy without having to delete his password. Any info is apprieciated.

You can always install a keylogger program to keep track of whatever passwords he puts in. Then you won't have to delete the password and you'll still have access to the account.
Keyloggers and sniffers are great if you want to monitor network traffic. GiveMeToo, logs it all, even downloaded movie clips etc...... Have a look around, there will be something suitable for you there....................
