prob installing daemon tools..

    i needa some help here guys, my com restarts once i try to load the daemon tools after the installation, then subsequent attempts to open daemon will result in me getting an error saying "initializaion error.this program requires windows 2000 with SPTD 1.21 or higher.kernel debugger muz be deactivated." my com is xp home edition but wats kernel debugger? similarly for alcohol 120, my com will restart during the installation of it.. can some 1 help me? thanks alot

    I'm running XP Pro and I'm getting the same thing. I'm gonna try an earlier version

    What version do you have ? -- The latest version (DAEMON Tools 4.0.3 X86) was put out to cure the problems you are talking about !

    Well, I'm running the lastest on own of my machines. I tried to install it another machine but it would not work. So, I had to do a system restore so I could start over. After the system restore, I then tried installing 3.47 and it worked fine. I then again tried to update to the latest, but it still would not work.

    I'm reloading the problem machine now and gonna try and see what happens.
