I’ve got a Lite-on 811S dual format DVD burner and have successfully burned a number of DVD+RW’s and DVD+R’s, but the two times I’ve tried to burn a DVD-R, Nero gets about two-thirds the way thru the burn process and fails. Should I try a different brand of media or there something else I should try. The reason I’d like to try a –R is because my standalone DVD player is old (Pioneer DV414) and doesn’t seem to be able to handle the +R’s. I get some pixelation and stuttering during playback. They play fine on my PC DVD drive and I’ve tried them on a few friends newer standalones, with no problems, so I’m pretty sure its my player and not the DVD itself, but before I bought a newer player I wanted to see if –R’s might work. Thanks,

    Mike
