For Windows XP Professional (not Home) Go to Start, Run, gpedit.msc Under User Configuration go to: Administrative Templates\System Find - Prevent access to the command prompt Set to Not Configured.
I did it step by step, exactly what you said. But when i found it and set it into Not Configured, then I run Command prompt but its still the same. plsss help
This might help maybe http://windowsxp.mvps.org/disablecmd.htm I think for pro or try here about half way down the page I think for home edition http://www.windowsnetworking.com/nt/nt2000/registry/rtips52.shtml
I run the gpedit.msc and go to User Configuration Administrative Templates\System and double-click on Prevent access to the command prompt then instead of Clicking [bold]"Not configured"[/bold]. but then I clicked the [bold]"Disable"[/bold] Tab. It grant access to the command prompt and now i can use it again. TNX a lot [bold]Morph416[/bold] tnx so very much, and for [bold]bkf[/bold] appreciate the link.. Thank you all
