I recently installed a Nvidia Geforce FX5200 EP 128mb DDR TV-Out DVI card on my comp. After, i noticed that i can no longer transfer files from one h.d. to another as i have 3 h.d.'s installed, also i cannot transfer files from my cd-rom to my h.d. either. I get an error and my explorer shuts down. Im assuming it has something to do with the newly installed card as transfering files before i installed it was not a problem. Any suggestions on what may be causing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help
Sounds unlikely that the vid card would cause a failure of file transfer. Consider swapping it with the older one to make sure?
I did what u suggested and put my other card back in and i can trnsfer files again without any problems. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but when installed my card it gave me a option to install some optional vivo feature with it but i chose not to b/c i dont know what that was.Could that possibly have something to do with it. If not any other suggestions would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks for the responce
