problem after using registry mechanic

I used registry mechanic and it fixed like 500 problems. great. but after i did this, almost all music icons disappear, like the REalplayer icons for all my music files disappear and that original icon (u know, that icon that doesnt open with any program) takes its place. why is this? can i fix this problem without having to restore my registry? how?

i dont wanna restore my resgitry because i kinda want to leave all those problems fixed. has this happened to anyone else? hope someone can help me. thanks
