i have installed the nme chip into my xbox360. i have managed to backup a couple of games but i have now come stuck. i have used both xbox backup creator and schtrom v 4.0 to create a image. i then use nme assossiator to convert the image and finish with imgburn. ( i have inserted the image break in the settings) when i try to burn with imgburn i get the message that the format is not supported. i know this has been raised many times but im still stuck. i have tried using clonecd but when i try to select the image nothing happens. i have noticed that if i do not use nme assossiator clone cd will see the imgage. i have opened the image in notepad and removed the image break and tried to burn with imgburn but there is no difference. any help would be appreciated, i'm running out of hair to pull out. i cant understand why it worked a couple of times in the past but not anymore. the game im trying to backup is call of duty, world at war.
Have you checked your image file with ABGX360? If so, it will create a .dvd file for you. Imgburn will not recognize image file, only a .dvd file.
Have you set the bitsetting/booktype to dvd-rom? Or does your dvd drive auto-change the bitsetting/booktype to dvd-rom while burning?
just to add, when i rip my copy with xbox backup creator or schtrom i get two files on my desktop. one is a dvd file and the other is a winrar folder. i then convert the dvd file with nme assossiator then try to burn whis file with imgburn, but it says unsuported file format. ( under the write tab) i have highlighted user specified and inserted the layer break number. is this correct ?
managed to sort it. when using nme assossiator you convert the rar folder only. i was converting both and so imgburn could not read them. thanks for all the responses
