Problem browsing internet after installing iTunes

    Hi everyone.

    I have Windows XP Pro with SP3. I recently installed iTunes 7.6.2 and now I cannot browse the internet using Firefox 3 or IE. When I first open the browser it loads the homepage fine but doesnt load any other pages.

    Is there a resolution to this problem please? I need iTunes installed for my iPhone.

    Any response would be appreciated. Thanks

    Can someone please reply?

    On a slightly different problem... I also have a MacBook with Leopard on and iTunes 7.6.2 but it doesnt connect to the iTunes store or apple to download updates for iPhone.

    Any suggestions please?

    Maybe try installing firefox and itunes over previous install. If that doesn't help maybe your pc is infected by a virus/spyware. download hijackthis, scan pc and paste your log here.

    Firefox runs smoothly as soon as I uninstall all traces of iTunes. There are no traces of virus.

    Might pay to try an earlier version of itunes. Have you searched the apple or Mozilla websites for answers to your troubles. There may be a known issue currently under investigation.

    Hey ozy

    I have this unusual problem with my Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Media Player 11. When i go to certain websites (which is about 80% of the websites i go to) and i listen to the music at the same time, while the page loads the music shakes t, the voice ofthe singers shakes a little and slows down (like in slow motion) until the page is done loading.It's weird. I have all applications up to date and security is pretty good.
    Ihave windows xp service pack 2 pro 1024MB ram and 180GB hard drive.
    any help is appriciated

    Try updating your moain board divers from the maufacturers website. Sounds like your PC is lacking in performance.
